Why buy a used Toyota Proace with Exchange and Mart?

When it comes to vans, Toyota's speciality has always been the medium-sized market it targeted with its Hiace model from the Seventies to the Noughties - but never really cracked. Things are changing though, as the brand gets more serious with business buyers thanks to a technology-sharing deal with PSA Peugeot Citroen. The first fruits of that collaboration emerged in 2012 with this van, the Proace. On paper at least, it seems to have much to offer to buyers in the used market looking for a versatile medium range Transit-class van from the 2012 to 2016 period.

About the Toyota Proace

This first generation Proace van represented a sensible first step in the re-establishment of the Toyota brand in the LCV marketplace. The choice of derivatives isn't perhaps quite as large as some rivals can offer, but what was available hit the sweet spot for most users, all the key bases having been covered when it comes to size, weight and power. Why you should buy this medium range van rather than any other is a harder question to answer. Perhaps it's easiest to say that there aren't many reasons why you shouldn't. Other, more modern designs may look a shade smarter or be slightly more efficient or practical - but there's not a lot in it. Certainly not enough to matter if you've already a good relationship with your Toyota dealer or have a convenient one close by. Vans from this brand have a history of selling to real professionals. Don't expect that to change any time soon.
