Terms and Conditions for placing classified ads with ExchangeandMart.co.uk

1. The £5 ad offer for 2 weeks online (and £10 ad offer for 5 weeks online) is only available to you if you're a private advertiser. It is against the Trade Descriptions Act for a trade advertiser to pretend to be making a private sale.
   
   
2. Only one item may be advertised in each ad (or where multiple items are sold as one offer; e.g. a stamp collection).
   
   
3. You can sell anything* on ExchangeandMart.co.uk (*excluding products and services which are illegal or contravene trading standards or Exchange and Mart policy. A full list can be obtained from customersupport@exchangeandmart.co.uk)
   
   
4. Advertisements will appear on the site immediately after they are received and processed, and will stay on the site for 14 days (or 35 days for the £10 private advertising offer). Please note that we review adverts placed in certain categories before they appear on the site. You will be advised at the time of placing your advert if it is being reviewed. We will try to review your advert within 1 working day of it being placed.
   
   
5. You will receive a confirmation email by return.
   
   
6. You may return to your ad at any time to amend the wording or price, or to add/delete a photo. You can cancel (delete) an advert once submitted, but you are not entitled to a refund. If your ad has expired and you wish to renew it, this can be done without having to re-submit the text - but you will need to pay again.
   
   
7. All major UK credit / debit cards are accepted. All prices include VAT at 20%.

1. For the purposes of the prevention or detection of offences, and/or the apprehension or prosecution of offenders, we may share any of the information that we collect with the Police, other public or private sector agencies or representative bodies in accordance with the relevant legislation. This will include public authorities, insurance companies, finance companies, automotive advertising companies and/or other agencies.
   
   Information shared in this way will not be used for marketing purposes.
