The 124 Coupé was designed by Mario Boano, known for designing the bodywork on the Ferrari 250 GT and was based on the Fiat 124 saloon car. It was produced by Fiat between 1967 and 1975 in three generations, AC, BC and CC. The 4 cylinder aluminum twin overhead cam Engine was designed by ex-Ferrari engineer Aurelio Lampredi and the AC or first generation featured a 1,438 cc engine which grew to 1,608 in the second or BC generation. The third generation or CC was first officially offered with the 1,592 cc and then 1,756 cc. The BC and CC cars had a 5-speed gearbox, power assisted disc brakes on all 4 wheels, double wishbone front suspension, 2 Weber or Solex carburetors and coil spring suspension. The BC series featured revised styling with twin headlights and revised taillights shared with the Lamborghini Jarama and other options included green tinted windows, Cromodora alloy wheels with chrome centre hub caps, radio, seat headrests, rear windshield electric defrosting and electronic ignition on the CC range. Recently arrived from Italy and now UK registered - This stunning example, VIN No: 124BC 0185978 was built by Fiat in November 1971 and was first registered in Lecce, Southern Italy on 5th January 1972 and it is finished in its original colour scheme of Silver with a Black interior, Cloth & Vinyl seats, Black carpets, 1608cc Engine, 5 Speed Manual Gearbox and Cromodora Alloy Wheels and comes with its original Jack, Workshop Manual & Drivers Handbook.
