hi and welcome to my acution.
here we have a mk3 escort survivor car ... the car had been laid up till we purchased it earlier on last year .. had always wanted one dont no why but did , so i sent it off to the garage had the cambelt and water pump changed , full engine service and a basic vehicle recommission and the old girl sailed through her mot in august with no advisories ..
after many hours polishing it we found that overall the car is in good condition for a 35 year old ford , its never been welded !!! and is solid underneath showing its low mileage , the car is dressed in caspian blue and looks amazing in the sun , there a few battle scares which i dare say could tell some stories if they could talk ! and some scratches and dings from storage over the last decade and some very small rust spots , this never bothered me as its still oe paint and adds to the originality of the car , inside is clean and tidy , no radio, parcel shelf and the dash has the standard sun drenched cracks but its comfy and does what it says on the tin ...
there is some service history with and the oe book if i remember correctly . she drives well and would make a great starter classic for an enthusiast that doesn't want a 10k bill for a xr3 etc or someone that just wants something to fetal with .. only selling due to family commitments.
The car is just having a brand new brake master cylinder fitted as the seals had wondered off in the old one so there is another job that will not need doing :)
, and dont expect a brand new car shes an old girl now
