Buell X1 Lightning, only 12474 miles on the clock and in fantastic condition, the bike also sounds and goes as good as it looks as it comes fitted with a performance exhaust system and Screamin Eagle air box, the trellis framed Buells are becoming rarer and more sort after all the time and the X1 Lightning is on if the best, the Buell X1 Lightning evolved from the M2 Cyclone and features the same short wheelbase chassis, with Showa suspension on the early run base models, then WP kit on the later X1 Lightning, and souped up White Lightning variant. With more grunt than the M2 the X1 feels like more fun and the build quality improved somewhat as time went by, only px to clear due to its age, Px to clear: Some of these bikes may require a little work to make roadworthy, hence sold for spares or repairs. (Advertising on behalf of a private seller ask for Steve Cleave, number plate not included) Stunning condition Buell XB9SX Lightning City X Hailed as a future classic, this beautiful condition bike with aggressive urban styling, torque like you wouldn't believe, a soundtrack like no other draws attention wherever it goes. Really not sure about parting with it as they are getting pretty rare, so am equally happy to keep. This bike is a dream to ride and has MOT until April 2018, it is full of innovative design features that were ahead of their time, such as fuel in the frame, oil in the rear swing arm and a giant radial disc brake. The Buell XB9SX won various awards for the best handling motorcycle back in 2005 and when you couple this with the huge torque of it's V twin engine, this bike is an absolute blast to ride. I can't think of any bad points to mention. It has a polished Jardine exhaust, which sounds great. It has lived in a heated dry garage under a bike cover. The bike has great service history and has been loved and well cared for, I will throw in 5ltrs of Harley Davidson engine oil and a new filter, which I bought and haven't used. If you fancy some inexpensive fun and something that will appreciate in value look no further, if you are shy and don't like attracting positive attention then this might not be for you!
