HONDA is giving its VFR1200F sports-tourer a long-distance makeover this autumn, with a free touring pack on all new machines.

The touring pack includes a top box and panniers providing 89 litres of storage, a centre stand and heated grips.

The Honda accessories, worth £1,675 if bought separately, are free with any new machine bought from an official Honda dealer this September and October.

The aerodynamic panniers are colour matched to the bike and come with a 'quick-detach' mechanism to make it easier to remove the luggage when you arrive at your destination. The top box also includes a back pad to provide pillion passengers with extra comfort.

Heated grips come with three variable heat levels.

A Honda spokesman said: "The VFR1200F offers an incredible riding experience for both rider and pillion, be it for daily commuting or longer distance leisure riding."
