HOW TO FIND YOUR IDEAL CAR
Searching a website for a car can be like looking for a needle in a haystack if you have to trawl through pages and pages of search results just to find a car that meets your specific requirements. Now finding the right car for you on ExchangeandMart.co.uk has never been easier.
Whether you're looking for an estate or MPV in black, silver or blue, or an automatic VW Golf GTI, our new search tool will allow you to do this quickly and easily. You can also select up to three makes, or one make and multiple models. There are different ways to refine your search to arrive at the right set of search results for you, and finding your ideal car is now much more flexible.
Here are the main ways you can now search for your ideal car:
By keyword - Enter a word or phrase that is likely to appear in an ad for the car you want. This is especially useful if you're looking for a specific derivative of a certain model (e.g. 'gti'), or if you have a specific requirement (e.g. 'one owner from new').
By make and model - You can now select up to three makes, which is handy if you're not entirely sure which make you're looking for but have a shortlist in mind. Alternatively you can select just one make and multiple models, allowing you to choose a variety of cars from your favoured manufacturer.
By body type - If you're not sure which make/model to go for, but you know you need a specific type of car (e.g. due to a lifestyle change) you can select the car body type to help you see what's available, and then refine your search afterwards.
By mileage, age and price - Select the 'from' and 'to' range for each of these attributes to meet your requirements.
By distance from you - If you don't fancy travelling to the other end of the country to buy your car you can specify a maximum distance from your home.
By transmission or fuel type - Whether you like driving manual, automatic or semi-automatic cars, you can now search the one you want. And if you have specific requirements for fuel, this is now also available to select.
By exterior colour - If you find a car that meets all your functional requirements but the colour isn't quite what you were looking for, this can feel like 'so near yet so far'. Now you can select the colours you like as well. And if you have a shortlist of colours you like, this is also possible as you can select as many as you like from those available.
Of course, you can combine all of the above to really refine your search to bring back cars that match your very specific requirements. Now you really can find that needle in the haystack!
