This is an extremely rare car. One of only 6 series 4 1300cc Vixen's with M-type chassis. I believe this to be number 4. A nut and bolt restoration to the highest standard was started several years ago. Which includes a rollcage built into the fibreglass and under the interior trim. It needs to be finished off with a little interior trim, passenger window glass, front grill, exhaust, engine hoses and ancillaries. Only 15 cars built with the 1296 Triumph Spitfire engine between 1971-1972. 9 series 3 Vixen's with Vixen chassis and 6 series 4 with M type chassis. The current 2.0ltr Ford Pinto engine was fitted in 1984 when it had its first restoration.
