- Phenomenal performance - Outstanding condition - Full weather gear included - Four cylinder RS 2000 OHC engine with twin-Webers - British Racing Green metallic with Black and Yellow Revolution wheels - Leather upholstered Cobra seats Klaus Vielhauer, Robert Menshik and Ulrich Menshik founded VM in November 1988, the company was founded on their passion for vehicles and a desire to build special examples. Their first model was the Seventy Seven, a beautiful homage to the iconic Lotus Seven. The complete interior, such as the shell seat, the dashboard and the carbon fibre gearbox tunnel lining were all crafted by hand and a specially designed fabric hood ensures all-weather suitability. VM developed the chassis with adjustable shock absorbers to provide optimum handling for the car. Beautifully finished in metallic British Racing Green with contrasting Black and Yellow revolution wheels. The interior benefits from Black leather Cobra seats with safety harnesses, which provide a comfortable and secure driving position. A carbon fibre dashboard is a subtle detail enhancing the overall appearance. Our VM comes complete with full weather gear. The low driving position combined with its powerful engine with twin-Weber carburettors produces a car that is phenomenal to drive, the stunning car works on the button and is ready to be enjoyed. Included in the file are numerous invoices of works completed. Now available for viewing at the DD Classics Dealership in London, please call for more information. Lotus Seven S2, 1960. Superb restoration finished in June 2014. Rebuilt to a very high standard on the original chassis frame. Originally shipped to the U.S.A. in 1960 and supplied to Jay Chamberlain of Los Angeles, California who had a close business relationship with Colin Chapman at the time and was the chosen US importer. The early Sevens to the US were designated the “7 America”, when the Seven was still only produced in R.H.D. form at the time. Certified by the Lotus factory as a matching frame and VIN /chassis plate numbers car and a 1960 car fitted with the 948cc Sprite engine. Comes with the certificate of provenance from Lotus Cars Ltd. Frame and re-skin carried out by Mick Beverage who did the work on former Formula 1 driver Piers Courage’s Seven. The frame was in very good shape due to the Californian climate and was sympathetically restored accordingly. The Seven has been rebuilt to an exacting no expense spared standard with great attention to detail. Engine rebuilt to fast road specification, gearbox rebuilt and a fully rebuilt correct Standard 10 rear axle. Correct 13 X 3 1/2” Triumph Herald steel wheels. Has it’s original Chassis Plate and frame number. A pure delight in every respect.

Lotus Elan Sprint DHC, 1973 (manufactured 1972). This is an incredible opportunity to buy a very special Elan Sprint. Confirmed by the Lotus factory as being the 16th from last UK DHC Sprint in Gold-Leaf Carnival Red over Cirrus White. Incredible provenance having been supplied to famous Lotus Dealer: Roger Clark Cars Ltd. in early 1973 to first garage owner Chris Smith who sold it on to a gentleman in September 1973 where it was then enjoyed until 1999 when he sadly passed away leaving his daughter with ownership until 2007. The last owner acquired this stunning example and subsequently set about restoring it to an exacting standard. Rebuilt on a new chassis and virtually every nut and bolt replaced. One of the very best Elan Sprints I have personally driven since the 1970’s. Engine fully rebuilt and rolling-road set up registering 142bhp sporting a Tony Thompson Racing 26R exhaust manifold. This is probably the best “braking” Elan we have ever driven. Pin-sharp with upgraded drilled and grooved discs. Phenomenal stopping power to match the exhilarating engine performance. Braking power is immense and extremely progressive and racing car quality. Completely matching number car with factory 3.55 diff as confirmed on the Lotus Cars Ltd. Classic Certificate of Provenance. CV solid drive shaft conversion making this an absolutely joyous Elan to drive and an incredible experience in every respect. One of the best surviving original Sprint dashboards we have seen, without any cracks in the lacquer and just a very mild amount of wear of the switchgear lettering commensurate with the 1500 miles per annum usage. Original Colin Chapman steering wheel, all correct instruments, gear-knob and dealer fitted Philips Turnlock Radio. Even the original early yellow
