FOR SALE Daisy Boo 1971 VW Type 2 Camper van After 15 years of ownership our beloved VW Camper van is now up for sale due to lack of use and my wife not being able to use her anymore. A Bit about her. She is a crossover bay window type 2 built around 1971. A crossover is a low light bay window with later bay window parts such as rear lights and gear box and earlier bay window parts such as bumpers and steering box. She was bought by us way back in 2002 as a hand painted blue and white camper. We used her for 5 years or so then started a pretty comprehensive restoration. During this we replaced plenty of metal work all panels and doors new glass new interior steering overhauled. Along with front and rear brake overhaul we did a full suspension overhaul. New underbelly protection and much much more. I have all the photos taken during this overhaul. This was done by myself and a friend who is more into VW's than I am. Her new interior consisted of a whole new interior cupboard arrangement new lighting and overhead locker. She has electric start gas cooker and electric pumped water. Full electric over hall many interior lights powered by an alternative battery. Switch in engine bay to go from one to another. I have all the campsite connections you will ever need.. including a one in the engine bay to supply a new trip switch and plenty of 240v sockets. All locks lock from just two keys all doors engine lid and tailgate except the sliding door. The sliding door is an early lock version so I have the original key. We removed the pop top as it was far to gone to save and installed a rather nifty fibreglass fully opening roof which stretches from just behind the cab bulkhead to just before the roof mounter overhead storage. Great for

1955 COMMER EXPRESS DELIVERY VAN This very rare van is finished in green with red trim and has had 5 keepers and has covered only 31000 miles from new – we have been led to believe. It is an historic vehicle so is exempt from both MoT and road Tax. It has formed part of a large private museum/car collection for many years in Redruth, Cornwall. It is in remarkable original condition apart from a repaint which took place some years ago. This is a very charming and useful van for Company advertising, historic car collection, museum or just for fun. Only a few of this type of van remain in the world and the valuable registration number SPX 740 is sold with the van and is transferable. The history folder includes: current V5, DVLA paperwork, various images and catalogues of the new car range at the time, original Owner’s handbook, lubrication chart, wiring diagram, images of this type of van when new, technical data sheet, dashboard layout leaflet, maintenance chart, various write ups and original workshop manual. The features include, wing mirrors, driver’s door mirror, heater, cigarette lighter, period black and silver number plates, wood panelling to rear, chrome hubcaps with chrome rim embellishers, period white steering wheel, ashtray, side chrome strip and 2 opening rear doors. Out of all the Commer group of vans, the Express was the most popular with a payload of 9cwt and using the 1390cc engine and 4 speed column gears from the Minx Saloon. So this beautiful van offers good performance and economy and is a rear rarity for showing. We don’t think you will see another one like this at any of the car shows £11995

Another great truck to find its way into the St Andrews showroom. My personal favourite of all the fifties trucks with that unique chunky front end styling. This rare big window truck is a very high spec.superbly finished & constructed machine, reputably built at the Boyd Coddington Rod Shop by a staff member for his own personal use. The truck drives & handles like a modern vehicle and is offered today in immaculate order. Not to be confused with other inferior builds out there. You can really see & feel the difference She is powered by a uprated 350ci Corvette Tuned Port Injection engine with alloy heads, via a smooth 700R9 4 speed overdrive box with Locar shifter, offering brisk performance if required, but also economy,as it cruises at 1500 rpm at motorway speeds. The engine sits in a clean & detailed engine bay,and is fitted with high quality ancillaries, custom headers & 3" exhaust. The cab is fully trimmed with comfortable, electric leather seats, has a great Alpine sound system and even has Air-Conditioning & electric windows. Suspension & drive train is provided by a fully refurbished '74 Camaro drive train with Air Ride adjustment, power disc brakes & power steering. The truck rides on genuine polished E/T Gasser alloys. Rear bed features a hard cover, and is fully trimmed. The super straight paint was applied by the respected Larry Ward and has some subtle pinstriping on the bonnet & Tailgate I could waffle on with more in depth details, but you get the drift with this truck... She comes with a history & Spec. file I'm happy to P/X her with anything interesting of any value. Finance available Subject To Status Thank You.

We are delighted to offer this beautiful bus just in time for the summer. A genuine UK supplied bus from new that has undergone an extensive restoration during summer 2013 to bring it up to its current ‘show’ standard. Bodywork, Paint & Exterior The major restoration included stripping the shell back to bare metal and replacing every single grain of rot or rust underneath and on top of the shell. The shell has then been painted in the popular Mango colour scheme on top and underneath. The paintwork on this bus is exceptional and far exceeds the majority of Split Screens out there. It is considered a fine art to get the side panels on these busses dead straight so it is very fortunate that this bus has very straight panels and one of the best paint jobs we have ever seen. All the door shuts are spaced comfortably and flush against the shell, as they should be.Original steel wheels sandblasted, powder coated and painted in VW white with new large logo VW hubcaps. New tyres all round May 2014.Safari pop out windows at the front with the best quality seals and six side pop out windows with new seals all round. The bus is complete with all the bells and whistles including deluxe samba trim, US Spec bumpers, bullet indicators and front headlight grills. Engine & Mechanical The bus has had all of the best mechanical upgrades including IRS (Independent Rear Suspension) and dropped spindles at the front to match so that the bus sits slightly lower at what is deemed the perfect ride height for a Split Screen. This gives that sharp and iconic look whilst also maintaining a steady feel on the roads without the hassle of grounding out up steep hills or over speed bumps. New drum brakes all round with VW Jim Servo. One of the best brake setups you can achieve that offers soft

We are very proud to once again offer this very beautiful RHD bus for sale that we previously sold to a local gentleman just over a year ago. The owner has since decided to sell the bus, as he simply did not have enough time on his hands to use it as much as he would have liked. This is one of the best busses we have ever had the pleasure of owning and has been fully restored to a very high standard. Finished in original colours – Sealing wax red / Beige Grey featuring deluxe trim and US Spec bumpers. Enthusiasts will be pleased to know that this bus sports the ultimate mechanical setup including a Fully rebuilt 1500cc engine, IRS suspension with a rebuilt IRS gearbox, Front Disc brake conversion with VW Jim Servo, Creative Engineering Steering Rack. All of the above mechanical upgrades are the most popular and very best upgrades you could do to a split screen. The drive of this bus is nothing short of exceptional, not to mention its great engine performance and overall reliability. I would have every confidence to drive this bus down to the south of France with just the turn of a key! The interior is totally bespoke and was designed by the previous owner. It has won several shows as being ‘Best camping interior’. It features two bench seats that face one another and a table in-between. The table can be folded down on top of a frame, which turns into a bed with extra cushions in the rear for added comfort. There is also a bespoke awning and fold out shelves on the inside of the cargo doors which house a gas cooker enabling you to cook outside without any fumes or grease damaging the interior. There are many other very interesting features and details to this interior far too long to list but to conclude this is one of the best interiors we have seen in a cam
